Still woozy, he stumbles out of his home to leave for Europe and winds up at Coney Island. There he meets a pretty dancer, Tessie (Irene Fenwick), and decides she can heal his broken heart. Tessie and her father view him dubiously, and her sweetheart, Jan the boatman (William Bailey), is furious. But Pete insists on bringing Tessie and her father into his social circle.
